Effective 17 August 2026 · Last updated 17 August 2026

Vowric is built on the idea that nothing entrusted is lost and nothing done is hidden. That has to apply to what we hold about you, too. This page says what we collect, what happens to it, and who else sees it.

1. Who we are

Vowric is a product of Dango Family Inc., a Canadian federal corporation. We are the organisation accountable for the personal information described here.

Dango Family Inc.
Ontario, Canada
Canada Business Corporations Act · Corporation number 1410243-6

Privacy contact: huan@vowric.com

2. What this policy covers

This page covers vowric.com — the site itself and the enquiry form on it. If you hold a Vowric account, section 11 applies to you as well.

Our other products and sites publish their own policies. Where one of those holds information about you, its policy governs it, not this one.

3. What we collect when you send us an enquiry

The enquiry form collects as you go, so nothing you have already said is lost if you stop halfway. Concretely, we store:

We do not store your IP address. We store a one-way hash of it, which lets us see that two requests came from the same somewhere without knowing where that is. It exists for rate limiting and abuse triage, and for nothing else.

4. What happens to it after you send it

Once you confirm your address, an automated pass reads what you sent, works out what your business looks like, and writes two things: a summary for us, and a draft reply.

A person reads and approves that draft before anything is sent to you. The machine prepares the answer; it never gets to be the one who answers.

This pass involves sending your material to the AI providers named in section 7. If you would rather that did not happen, say so in the enquiry, or write to us directly at the address in section 1 instead of using the form.

5. How we measure traffic

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and which site sent them. It is added by Cloudflare at the edge rather than by anything we install.

It is cookieless: nothing is set on your device, you are given no identifier, and it cannot follow you to another website.

6. What we do not do

7. Who else touches it

Each provider sees only what it needs, and none may use your information for its own purposes.

ProviderWhat it does, and what it sees
Cloudflare Runs our domain, sits in front of the site, provides the cookieless analytics in section 5, and stores the files you upload in its R2 object storage.
OpenAI Transcribes dictation. If you speak into the form, the audio is sent to OpenAI and the text comes back.
OpenRouter The gateway we send the written enquiry through for the reading pass in section 4. It routes the request to a language-model provider; which model that is can change as we improve the product.
Resend Delivers our email — the verification link and our reply.
Contabo Hosts the servers this runs on. See section 8.

We will also disclose information where the law requires it — a court order, a lawful demand from a public authority, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

8. Where your information is stored

Our servers are not in Canada. This service runs on infrastructure operated by Contabo in Germany, uploaded files are held in Cloudflare's object storage, and the providers in section 7 operate internationally.

So your information is stored and processed outside Canada, and while it is there it is subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by their courts and government authorities. Canadian privacy law requires us to tell you this, and you should be able to decide with the facts in hand.

9. How long we keep it

10. Your rights, and how to use them

You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. Write to huan@vowric.com. We will answer within 30 days, we do not charge for it, and we will not ask you why.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. If you have a Vowric account

Vowric holds what your organisation puts into it — messages, commitments, documents, and the record of what was promised and whether it was kept. Your organisation controls that information, and we hold it on their behalf. If you use Vowric through an employer or a client, ask them first: they decide what is kept, who inside the organisation may see it, and when it is deleted. We will help them act on any request you make.

12. How we protect it

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Each organisation's data is isolated at the database level rather than by application code remembering to filter. Access to the systems holding personal information is restricted to the people who operate them, and credentials are held in an encrypted store.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever puts you at risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, as Canadian law requires.

13. Changes to this page

If we change it, we change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will tell the people it affects by email rather than relying on you to re-read the page.

14. Contact

Questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: huan@vowric.com, or by post to the address in section 1.
